Asking your staff to keep up-to-date with recent trends in the service industry can be a hassle if you do not provide the opportunity for them to learn and develop the skills they require. St. Christopher's Hotel is a firm believer in this, which is why over the past few months we have provided numerous members of our staff with training opportunities so they can continue to provide excellent service to our guests.
Through AVAIL HR Services Inc. our staff has completed 4 sets of training, including:
Frontline Leadership: provided to our Supervisory and Management staff to bring them up-to-date on the latest trends and strategies used as leaders representing the front line workers of the business.
Customer Service: provided to all of our Food and Beverage Servers and Front Desk staff. This training provided our staff with the essential knowledge and skills to provide the best customer service to our guests and dining room customers.
Handling Challenging Customers: provided to all of our Food and Beverage Servers and Front Desk staff. This session provided our staff with the skills to handle guests that: escalate an issue beyond a point of reasonableness, act in an inappropriate manner, or refuse to follow hotel polices.
Constructive Criticism: provided to our Supervisory and Management staff to provide them with skills to assist in training new staff and enforcing procedures to ensure that each member of our staff is providing the service they are expected to provide.
The staff at St. Christopher's Hotel strives to provide each guest with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We will continue to participate in training sessions to keep up with the changing demands of customers and to meet these demands and the expectations of guests staying at the hotel.
